Boise School District has acquired 1.86 acres near Timberline High School, ensuring future flexibility for District planning while enhancing neighborhood use. The $3.4 million purchase prevents the District from being landlocked and was funded through the Plant Facility Fund.

The Communities for Youth (C4Y) Boise Initiative is partnering with Boise School District to offer "Quad level" Data Walks in 2025. C4Y Data Walks are a fun and interactive way for community partners and community members like parents, grandparents, concerned neighbors and others to learn about and better understand the results of the annual Boise Youth Well-being Survey.

The Boise School District is addressing the death of a former staff member under investigation for child abuse allegations. Support resources are available for students, staff, and families. The District is committed to safety and encourages reporting concerns to District or police contacts.
